Forecasting Workshop: How to Improve Your Energy Forecasting6 March 2018
5 years ago, Vitec started using up to five different weather suppliers when making its energy forecasts. By combining several weather suppliers, we improved the consumption/production forecast with 10%. Nowadays we can also combine forecasting models as well as forecasting systems, internal or external.
The 6th – 7th of March, Vitec will arrange a seminar in Stockholm for Energy forecasters where we will show you how you can use Aiolos as a standalone system or combine it with your existing forecasting system. We will also show how you can use Aiolos as an evaluation system for comparing different weather suppliers, forecasting system suppliers and how you can save money by combining several suppliers.
- Evaluating weather forecasts or forecasting system suppliers
- Combine forecasts for better results
- Demonstration of Aiolos and its GUI
- The Aiolos forecasting models
- Special features within Aiolos, such as:
- Aiolos Model Studio – create/adjust your own models
