Research results: Vitec Acute deliver top quality software

The latest Polte research, conducted by the Finnish Medical Association, provides valuable insights into physicians’ perspectives on patient information systems.

As the most comprehensive domestic study in Finland focusing on usability, technical functionality, and information flow, its findings shape the industry’s development. Published every three to five years, this regular study has monitored trends since 2010.

- The results show that Vitec Acute leads among system comparisons, standing out as the top performer for technical functionality. This suggests that our ongoing improvements are making a positive impact on user experience and moving the system in the right direction, says Janne Vainio, CEO of Vitec Acute.

The research data a tool for improvements

The research data is not just statistics but a tool that guides development. It shows where systems make customers’ work easier and where they burden. At Vitec Acute, they utilize these findings to offer solutions in the software that support healthcare professionals’ everyday life even better. When usability improves and information is found quickly, professionals have more time for patients.

The results show that our investment in Acute’s usability and smooth workflow is paying off.

- The results show that our investment in Acute’s usability and smooth workflow is paying off. Our goal is that the next research will show an even better grade–and above all, that the results of our development work will be visible as concrete benefits in every working day at the customer, says Janne Vainio.

Vitec Acute turns routines into automation

The research highlights pain points in the industry in general, pain points that Vitec Acute have specifically focused on in its development work. In the Acute software, many repetitive tasks, such as appointment booking, invoicing, and reporting, are automated. This reduces manual work and speeds up daily processes, allowing professionals to focus on patient care.

Data security, quality and adaptability

Acute meets A3 classification requirements, and development work is based on user feedback. This means that the system not only meets statutory requirements but also continuously develops from the perspective of risk management and quality improvement. And the software is not the same for everyone – it is tailored to the needs of occupational health care, private, and public sectors. This ensures that the solution supports the processes and operating models of the specific organization. All these features contributed to the top score in the Polte research.
